Shannon Eller is one of Northeast Ohio’s accomplished and diverse jazz/pop vocalists known for her “full, easy vocal style”. Shannon’s wide vocal range and vast ability to sing various styles and genres allows her to create fresh musical arrangements and original tunes. Her charming and passionate delivery enables Shannon to develop a strong and intimate connection with her audiences.    

Shannon is the lead female vocalist for the Dave Banks Big Band. She also composes and arranges music for her own six piece jazz ensemble, The Shannon Eller Group. She was a guest vocalist at the 2012 Lakeland Jazz Festival, and was guest vocalist with the Baldwin-Wallace jazz ensemble. Shannon performs with other groupsas well and can be seen/heard at Nighttown, Brothers Lounge, the Cleveland Bop Stop, Musica, and Vosh, and Pub Bricco. 

Shannon’s repertoire is not at all limited to jazz and pop. She is also highly skilled in opera and musical theater. She has played leading roles in many musical theater and operatic productions, including A Little Night Music, The Will Rogers Follies, Pirates of Penzance, Guys and Dolls, Into the Woods, La Boheme, 42nd Street, A Chorus Line, The Music Man, Die Fledermaus, and Legally Blonde. Her most recent roles were Meg Brockie in Brigadoon and the Beggar Woman in Sweeney Todd.  Shannon also has sung the soprano solos in several choral works such as the Faure Requiem, the Mozart Requiem, and the Beethoven Mass in C.  Shannon is a graduate of the Dana School of Music at Youngstown State University with a degree in Vocal Performance.
